Lochinch Castle is a ruined castle standing in a glen above Lochinch, recorded as a sundial from the late 17th century. Its stones may have marked time, measured shadow or simply watched the water, while people came and went without leaving much behind. The glen keeps that absence alive: rain on stone, birds in the trees, and a castle reduced to the shape of what it watched.

Lochinch Castle, located in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, was built in the late 16th century by the Kennedy family, who held it for generations.
