Rockhall Tower in Collin, Dumfries and Galloway, is a 16th-century tower house that became a Grierson family home after Isabel Kirkpatrick married Gilbert Grierson in 1412. The estate grew through marriage, barony, extension and repeated remodelling, surviving into the 1950s with rooms, stair towers and stable gates shaped by generations. Near the house, a 12th-century motte and a medieval chapel suggest the land was valued long before the tower rose.
