Castle O'er Estate preserves a linear earthwork dating to the Iron Age in Dumfries and Galloway. The ridge may have marked a boundary, guided livestock or watched a valley, yet no surviving name explains whose hands shaped it. Its exact position is known, but its purpose remains withheld inside the shape itself.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castle O'er Estate as Linear Earthwork (iron Age). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
