Repentance Tower is a mid-16th century watch tower on Trailtrow Hill, built in 1565 by John Maxwell and still standing near Annan. The word Repentance is carved above the door, and local story says Maxwell took stone from the old Trailtrow Chapel, prompting a watch tower as recompense. Gravestones from that lost chapel still circle the base, while the top holds a parapet walk and a later beacon for a watch-fire.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Repentance Tower as Castle (medieval), Tower House (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
