Dalveen Castle was a medieval Douglas stronghold near Nether Dalveen farmsteading in Dumfries and Galloway, where one square wing with a vault below and outside stone stair remained in local memory until 1876. The castle has vanished except for a 1622 datestone set into the north wall of the farmhouse and the Douglas coat of arms preserved in the west wall, while large sandstone blocks in the building may be castle fragments. What is left is a house that swallowed a fortress, keeping its dates and arms intact although the castle itself has gone.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Dalveen Castle as Castle (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Dalveen Castle was built by the Drummond family in the 14th century and is remembered for its strategic position in the Lowlands of Scotland. It is important as a surviving example of medieval Scottish castle architecture.
