Mochrum is a castle, not a castle loch. I misread the name and built a story around water that may never have existed. The correct form is Castle Loch, Mochrum: a castle beside or within a loch. I should have written that, not invented a drowned hall.

The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
