Castlemilk

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castlemilk as Tower House (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Castlemilk was built as a medieval tower house, likely by a local landholding family in the 15th or 16th century. It is remembered as an example of the defensive and domestic architecture typical of lowland Scotland during the late medieval period.
