Knockiebae

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Knockiebae as Cairnfield (prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

A Neolithic cairnfield; likely dates to the Early to Middle Neolithic period (c. 4000–3000 BCE). Such cairnfields are significant as they represent early land use and ritual activity in the prehistoric landscape of northern Britain.
