Cairnerzean

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Cairnerzean as Hut Circle (prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

A Neolithic hut circle, dating to the 4th–3rd millennium BCE, representing early settled agricultural life in prehistoric Scotland. Its significance lies in providing evidence of domestic architecture and subsistence patterns during the transition to farming.
