Brocklock

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Brocklock as Covenanters Meeting Place (17th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Brocklock is associated with the Covenanters, a religious and political movement in 17th-century Scotland that opposed royal interference in the kirk. The site was used as a secret meeting place by Covenanters, who gathered to worship and plan resistance against persecution.
