What is recorded here
Located close to the summit of a hill on the NE-facing slope, with Drumsallagh House visible c. 300m to SE. It is depicted as a small circular wooded area bisected by a NE-SW farm lane on the 1835 and 1907 editions of the OS 6-inc map. It is now a circular enclosure defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2-3m) and an outer fosse or drain (Wth 2-3m), which is planted with what are now mature trees on the SW side of a dividing NW-SE field bank.
