Clearance stones from the surrounding pasture formed the chamber and mound. A person may have knelt inside the low roof, listening to wind move through the gaps between ancient slabs. The cave still holds that much smaller human scale, waiting for someone to sit beside its stones and remember the difference between living space and dead monument.

On high ground, in rough pasture with rock outcrop, surrounded by scrub. Small chamber (1m N-S; 1.4m E-W; H 0.65m), orientated E-W. Constructed of upright slabs on N and S sides, with single slab at W end, overlain by three lintels. Cairn or clearance material (L 8.4m; Wth 5.3m; H 0.9m) piled at E end of chamber.
