What is recorded here

One platform rath still stands in Drumlaghy, County Fermanagh. It is no longer a complete castle or a busy farm yard, but a raised circular scar in the land where someone shaped earth into a boundary and a stage. That much is clear. The rest is loss: names, tools, arguments, children, music, rain on new timber. A rath does not need a legend to be extraordinary. It needs only to remain visible, resisting the flattening hunger of later centuries.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as PLATFORM RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
