Hut site in Dromroe (glanarought By.)

In rough hill pasture, at the S base of a rock scarp, on an E-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Dromoghty River. The remains of a D-shaped hut site (2.4m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.3m) with a straight W side (L 2m N-S), formed by the linear face of outcropping rock. The drystone wall protrudes above the surface of the bog. There is an entrance (Wth 0.5m) in the centre of the wall along the E arc. The hut site is partly obscured by heather.
