Hut site in Drombohilly Lower

In rough hill pasture, on a break of a NW-facing slope. The remains of a rectangular hut site (3.4m NW-SE; 1.6m NE-SW) defined by a grass-covered wall (T 0.55m; H 0.3m) of earth and stone. Drystone-facing is visible along the base of the wall externally. There is a central entrance (Wth 0.4m) in the NE wall. The interior is raised (H 0.2m) above the external ground level. There is an enclosure (KE101-080----) in the immediate vicinity to the SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
