Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1810, having two-storey return, full length lean-to addition with cat-slide and single-storey lean-to extension to rear (north). Hipped slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods, slate roofs to lean-to additions and cat-slide, having rendered eaves course. Rendered wall to front elevation having render sill band to first floor and platbands to corners. Roughcast rendered walls elsewhere having rendered plinth. Square-headed window openings with stone sills throughout, having three-over-three pane timber sliding sash windows. Round-headed stairwell window opening with stone sill to rear elevation of return, having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash window with spoked fanlight to upper sash. Round-headed door opening within timber doorcase to front elevation, comprising fluted pilasters and panelled reveals surmounted by consoles and open bedded pediment. Timber panelled door surmounted by spoked fanlight, having limestone stepped approach. Two-storey pitched roofed rubble stone outbuilding and several later and recent outbuildings to rear. Recent rubble stone gate walls and piers to front. Set within own extensive grounds.
