What is recorded here

SWR264 is an unnamed wreck in County Down, Ireland, recorded at eight metres and removed between 1968 and 1971. Its identity never survived the registry, but its absence did: a ship disappeared twice, first beneath the sea and later from the place entirely. What remained is a hole shaped like a vessel, deep enough to drown and empty enough to forget.
The official Northern Ireland wreck record identifies Recorded wreck SWR264 as Unknown wreck. It was lost in Unknown. Recorded depth: 8m. Recorded condition: removed between 1968-1971.

A wreck point does not grant access or permission to dive, enter land, disturb the site or recover anything. Check current law and local conditions first.
