What is recorded here

Rainey Island is a small islet off Mahee Island in County Down, Ireland, caught in a glass plate negative taken by William Alfred Green. The photograph looks out from a farm across the lough, placing the islet inside an everyday human view rather than a distant myth. It may have been little more than a mark on the water, a benchmark for fishermen or a quiet shape in the mist, but Green preserved it as a place worthy of notice.
Rainey Island is recorded as a islet in County Down. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
