Visible on aerial photographs (ACAP: V221, 126-7) as a rectangular feature (dims c. 35m N-S; c. 30m E-W) defined by a narrow vegetation mark. Situated on a level landscape c. 200m from the S shore of the Callow Lough of Upper Lough Gara, it is not visible at ground level. The bawn (RO009-030----) of Callow castle is c. 180m to the E.
