This blue commemorative plaque records: Beneath this spot on 28th September 1992 was discovered a 3,600 year old Bronze Age boat now preserved and displayed in Dover Museum by the Dover Bronze Age Boat Trust Recorded plaque organisation: Dover Society.
The Dover Bronze Age Boat is one of the oldest known seagoing vessels in Northern Europe, providing significant insights into Bronze Age maritime technology and trade.
