This green commemorative plaque records: Tivoli Theatre. Art Deco design by E. de Wilde-Holding in 1936. Closed 1980. Reopend-1993 by the Voluntary Friends of Tivoli. Originally the 18th c.Borough House Recorded plaque organisation: Wimborne Minster Town Council.
Edward de Wilde-Holding designed the Art Deco Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne in 1936, contributing significantly to the town's cultural and architectural heritage. The theatre, originally built on the site of an 18th-century Borough House, has been a vital community venue since its reopening in 1993 by the Friends of Tivoli.
