Doonmore

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Doonmore is a fairy fort in County Clare, an earthen ring where the boundary between worlds grows thin. People may have lived there before fear or wonder moved them elsewhere, leaving behind a hollow place marked only by grass and memory.
