On a natural rise with wide views, in rough pasture and limestone outcrop within a large multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-). Hachured on the 1842 and 1920 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as 'Enclosure' in the RMP (1996). A subcircular platform (19.8m N-S; 19m E-W) defined by a well-preserved scarp (H 0.35-1.15m). At the W and S the perimeter has been dug into relatively recently. The interior slopes gently to the SE. The S half is covered with rubble and boulders, some of which may be field clearance. There is an enclosure (CL008-057008-) c. 71m to the NW.
