No trace of levelled castle (LA009-010001-) located to the W of Glenmalyre House. Glenmalyre House appears to be standing on an earthwork which is contemporary with the house and is post-1700 in date, other earthworks in the area are associated with the landscaping of Glenmalyre Demesne. There are no medieval earthworks depicted that are associated with the medieval castle.
