What is recorded here

Situated on a low rise of poorly drained land with a nearby bog on the E, S and W sides. Enclosure site (TN004-035) is located immediately to the N. Not visible at ground level. Hachured as an irregularly shaped enclosure on the 1903 ed. OS 6-inch map. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
