The terrier accompanying the Down Survey (1655-6) parish map of 'Mucully and part of Desert' records, 'at Damer[s]towne in Desert Parrish a Bawne & a Thatcht House and Cabbins', with the proprietor listed as Lord Mount Garrett. The precise location of the ‘cabbins’ within the townland is unknown.
