On a natural rise in pastureland. This monument is a circular grassed-over stone cairn (D 13.35m, H 1.8m), in fair condition, with traces of disturbance at a number of points. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
