Settlement cluster in Curraghadooey

Settlement cluster

What is recorded here

Four houses clustered in Curraghadooey townland, County Mayo, on a 1701 Trustees Survey map. Their exact spot is lost, but they likely formed a small neighbourly knot where smoke, trade and gossip moved between doors. The survey captured only their existence, not the lives inside.
