What is recorded here
In pasture, located on a prominent rise overlooking Crossbeg Lough, which is 120m to SW and is now drained and converted to pasture.
A roughly circular platform (overall diam. 7-8m; top, c. 4m; H 0.85m) of earth and stone, with a hint of a raised internal lip (Wth c. 1m), and enclosed externally by a fosse (Wth1.2-1.8m; D 0.2-0.3m) which is evident as a shallow depression. Sections of the fosse at NE, SE and W are entirely silted up or are filled with field clearance stones. The mound is partly obscured by gorse and brambles.
