What is recorded here

Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00481 Dimensions: T 0.11 A single line inscription. There is no evidence for a cross. Now part of the wall of Temple Dowling. Inscription: Inscribed 'OR D[O DITHRAID' Evidence of discovery: J. Graves and W. Hennessey took a rubbing in 1869. Not found by Macalister. Condition: A broken slab; most of the inscription remains. National Monuments Service, Photo number: 81- Stokes, M. (1878) Christian Inscriptions in the Irish language, Vol 1, p III, no. 9. The Clonmacnoise inventory was compiled by the Office of Public Works. A copy of the record for this slab is available for inspection in the relevant Archaeological Survey of Ireland (SMR) file.
