Cross-slab in Clonmacnoise

Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00020 Dimensions: H 10ins, W 8.5ins, T 2.5ins Initial cross with wedge shaped terminals. Macalister thought his fragrment 3 might be part of Petrie 52 but there is no evidence to support this view. Inscription: An inscription 'OR DO MAEL MAIRE'. Evidence of discovery: Drawn by Petrie in 1822 and lost by 1872. Condition: Now lost. Stokes, M. (1878) Christian Inscriptions in the Irish language, Vol 1, p XXI, no. 52.
