Probably dating to the early medieval period, this cross-slab may have had a liturgical or commemorative function within the monastic or ecclesiastical site associated with St. Berrihert. Its placement suggests it was used in a ritual or processional context, possibly linked to Christian worship or pilgrimage.

What is recorded here

In the S sector of an ecclesiastical enclosure (TS074-010----) known as St. Berrihert's Kyle and incorporated into a 'station' adjacent to the SE bank of the ecclesiastical enclosure. It does not appear is have been described by Ó hÉailidhe (1967, 102-26). The sandstone slab (dims 0.53m x 0.17m; T 0.09m) is badly worn with no visible decoration.
