Cross-slab in Ardane

Cross-slab

Why this matters

Probably dates to the early medieval period, associated with Christian worship or commemoration, given its location within an ecclesiastical enclosure linked to St. Berrihert. The cross-slab may have served as a memorial or liturgical marker, reflecting the influence of early Irish monastic sites in the region.
