Cross in Tinvane

Cross

What is recorded here

According to Killanian and Duignan (1967, 144) and Reynolds (1975, 88) at Tinvane House, now called Cedarfield Guesthouse, there is the fragment of a stone cross from Kilcreggane graveyard (WA005-011----) Co. Waterford 'bearing Leonard arms'. There have been several changes of ownership of this house since 1975. The present owners knew nothing of this stone cross fragment. It is currently unlocated. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
