On a gentle S-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Tomeen River, in pasture. Described by De Valera and Ó Nualláin (1961, no. 25, 96) as a ‘slab 2m maximum dimension resting on smaller slabs. Perhaps natural.’ Named as ‘Cromlechs’ on the 1921 edition OS 6-inch map. Not visible at ground level. The site of three other megalithic structures (CL035-045001-, CL035-045005- and CL035-045003-) are close to W, WSW and SW, respectively and the site of a cairn (CL035-045004-) is to SW.
