In pasture, at the break of a N-facing slope at the foot of the Ox Mountains. A D-shaped area (dims. 7.6m E-W) defined on the straight W side (L 19m N-S) by a sunken trackway (Wth c. 6m), flanked on its W side by a field boundary. Along the N-S arc the interior is defined by a steep natural slope. At E the top of the natural slope has been scarped (H 2.6m) and at the base of the scarp is a terrace (Wth 1.8m) from which the ground falls away steeply for several metres.
