Corlains Well in Creevagh, County Offaly, is a secular water source mislabelled as holy in a 1987 survey. The error stripped the place of its true identity, turning ordinary drinking water into phantom religion. Maybe someone glanced at a wet stone and invented a saint because doubt felt smaller than belief. The well never asked for prayer, only a cup and honesty.
