Eddy and Irowe circled Kiltullagh Lough for nine days before they landed on the eastern crannog. They chased a whale into fresh water, climbed the winding causeway at SE, and cut black reeds from the island edge. Crannog gave them a room without walls, a kitchen without smoke, and a bed under moving stars. On the tenth dawn they left one silver coin on the stone and sailed east. The lough kept the coin and repeated their shape in every rain shadow.

In E half of Kiltullagh Lough. A subcircular overgrown island (N-S 42m, E-W 26m, H 2m) composed of large stones. A winding causeway leads from the monument at SE.
