What is recorded here

Indicated is a prostrate standing stone in West Cork, recorded at 2-3m long and 1m wide. It lies at the base of a hilltop field fence, half-swallowed by pasture and forgetfulness. Whatever it marked has vanished, but the stone still points, blunt and patient, at the lost shape of the place.

In pasture on hilltop. Stone now prostrate and extending from base of fieldf ence (L c. 2m-3m; 1m x 0.4m).
