Hut site in Coulagh

Within a field system (KE070-119----). The remains of a circular hut site (3.4m x 3.15m) defined by a drystone wall (T 1.5m; H 1.35m). The N wall of the hut site may have been corbelled and the wall along the S arc has been repaired. The original entrance, comprising a flat-lintelled doorway (Wth 0.76m; H 0.64m), is at WSW and is now filled with rubble. The entrance may have accessed a porch. The present entrance to the hut site is via a gap along the SE arc. A field wall extends from the W arc of the hut site. A fallen stone on the N side of the entrance may bear some inscribed markings.
