In undulating pasture, atop low rise. Very little surface trace. Level, roughly circular area (dims. c. 8m N-S; c. 10m E-W) on E side of natural rise (long-axis E-W). Steep natural downslope to N, E and S. Not named or depicted on 1840-41 OS 6-inch map, but depicted as a small mound on latest edition. Described by Flynn (1913, 11) as 'a remarkable little cairn or tumulus', who also provides a plan and section (ibid., 12, no.4).
