Seventy-five metres north east of Castle Hill Farm, a henge circle waited through centuries before becoming a medieval playing place. Children may have chased each other between the stones while adults watched from the grass, turning ancient geometry into a living game. The earth kept both ages intact, preserving the henge and the joyful noise it once held.
