In grassland overlooking marshy land to N. Very poorly preserved subrectangular enclosure (E-W c. 40m, N-S c. 30m) defined by a low scarp along W and N sides, but by modern field boundaries along E and S sides. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
