Children's burial ground in Cornamonaster

Children's burial ground

What is recorded here

Cornamonaster holds a children's burial ground, a rare admission that the area witnessed loss young and repeated. The name preserves the age of the dead even when the date and village have faded. It is not a grand cathedral or a battlefield, but a place where small bodies were laid to rest and the land was named to remember them.
