What is recorded here

A single vertically set ash roundwood (L 0.49m; diam. 0.07m) located at the base of a drain. The top was machine damaged while the lower end was in poor condition but had been cleanly broken. Bark survived intact. The roundwood showed no evidence of toolmarks. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit, UCD. Date of upload: 24 August 2010
