Stone Circle ( Maulathanavalla )

Maulathanavalla is a stone circle in County Cork, Ireland. The stones stand in open country, not hidden beneath soil or scaffolding. They may have marked a boundary, a meeting place or a prayer path. People walked past them for generations before anyone wrote their name down. The circle still holds that old purpose, even if the purpose has forgotten how to explain itself.
