What is recorded here
Marked as an oval area (dims c. 50m NW-SE; c. 35m NE-SW) with scrub only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a shelf towards the bottom of the N-facing slope of a drumlin. Grass-covered area with ash trees, but no evidence of an enclosing feature. It was probably a copse or covert.
