Patricks Well in County Limerick remains a living ritual site where coins still drop into the water and devotionalia hang about the surround. The spring sits on the south side of a stream beneath a recent statue of St Patrick, yet local tradition claims the apostle himself blessed the water and cured eyes. People may have walked rounds there on 17th March for generations, trusting that clear water could touch what medicine failed.

On S side of stream. Spring enclosed by surround surmounted by a statue of St Patrick, both of recent origin. Still venerated, with a variety of devotionalia hung about the surround as well as coins dropped into the water.
