No trace survives of the Gallaun marked at this location. It stood southwest of the river Behy before extensive reclamation erased the land where it rose. The stone has vanished, but the boundary between memory and invention collapses when a place disappears. What remains is not fact but imagination, shaping itself around the absence.

No trace survives of the ‘Gallaun’ marked at this location on the OS maps. It was situated SW of the river Behy, in an area that has been extensively reclaimed.
