Detached double-pile six-bay two-storey over basement country house, built c. 1760, with two-bay pedimented breakfront, and having multiple-bay two-storey hip-roofed return with single-storey addition, and with two-storey addition to re-entrant corner. Hipped slate roofs with overhanging timber battened eaves and moulded limestone eaves course, rendered chimneystacks and replacement uPVC rainwater goods. Moulded limestone coping to pediment. Roughcast rendered walls with cut limestone plat band between ground and first floors, and carved limestone string course between ground floor and basement. Blind lunette to pediment, with carved limestone surround. Square-headed window openings with cut limestone sills and diminishing two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows. Front entrance doorway and sidelights set into cut limestone frontispiece with open-top pediment incorporating fanlight with raised surround, over moulded frieze above square-headed doorway with double-leaf timber panelled door flanked by timber sidelights. Splayed carved limestone steps with rendered parapet walls having carved limestone coping and piers to entrance door. Quadrant gateway to road, having cut limestone gate piers and roughcast rendered boundary walls.
